Sleep Deprivation
Since I moved here, to Nac, I don’t sleep much anymore. I get maybe four hours a night, if I’m lucky. I don’t know what it is, but I don’t sleep anymore. I don’t even nap. Back when I lived in Sherman, I would sleep like a baby. I still do, when I go back for visits. Maybe it’s living alone. Maybe it’s because I’m stressed. I black out during Theatre History a lot and wake up with five minutes left in class (sorry, Rick, it’s nothing personal). Maybe I should go to testicular cancer therapy groups and start up a fight club…
Luke sitting in the “lounge” which is actually a hallway. CC approaches.
Luke: Good morning.
CC: Good morning? You look miserable.
Luke: I’m tired.
CC: Really? Oh, wow.
That’s what I’m dealing with.
